After six years in one of the most upscale Senior living communities, I saw the need to move my relative to a facility dedicated solely to memory care. I first visited The Terraces is January. When I revisited again in May, after my relative was found to have a bed sore from sitting all day in front of the TV , I felt it was time to make the move. They were kind and caring. But I found my father at times not wearing shoes, urine soaked or his bed had not been made. They lacked the specific attention. I understand they are caring for a lot of people but for the price you expect a lot more attention.

I have nothing to compare it with. This is all new to me. My overall experience, I've been very happy with the overall facility.. The people are very helpful. They do a great job with mom. They specialize in memory care, meaning they only have memory care patients. After experiencing three types of service and facilities in this industry over the last six years I feel it's important that a facility focusing on memory care only is more effective in many aspects of this type of care itself. First, the facility is set up in such a way that it's highly unlikely a resident or patient can leave the facility, second, the staff that's hired are hyper sensitive to memory care …
