I was at The Village Senior Residence. I liked the whole thing. There wasn't anything that I didn't like. Their food was good, and their service was good. We had a lockdown from COVID and the only people that I would let in were the one that brought the food and the nurse when they had to come in and check on us. They respected me for that. One of the staff members thought that I had COVID because I wasn't letting anybody in. I wouldn't allow housekeeping in. I didn't let laundry in. The fo…

Exceptional facility- home

Mom has needed much more care than we knew. The staff is responsive and adjusts the level of care, as needed. They are caring and treat mom with kindness and respect. The facility communicates well with the family. We are kept in the loop with all changes.

I visited this facility

The Village Senior Residence was very clean and it was more of a luxury type of senior living. The dining area was very beautiful, the community area was very beautiful, and the grounds looked very well kept up. The studio room that dad would have gotten was well-maintained, and very nice. It had french doors that would open out to the patio. I was just very impressed with it.

Dealing with Covid

They're shorthanded and doing the best they can. For me, they're taking great care of Mom, especially since she's gone on hospice. With Covid, they're keeping the facility extremely clean. And housekeeping is doing a remarkable job keeping up with all the residents. They've shut down all activities due to Covid and are keeping residents safe in their rooms.

Great Place

This is the best place and we are so glad we chose Village Senior for our mom. The staff are all so gracious and kind and go out of their way to say hi and see if we need anything every time we visit mom. The place just feels so good and lively!
