I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom is a resident at SCR and after visiting many places for her, this one stood out in the uniqueness of a family and home environment, very friendly and caring staff, and cleanliness of facility. The residents are well cared for by the staff and while they do not do planned social activities, they engage with the residents constantly in activities. Families are very welcome and all are treated like one big family. The facility is nicely maintained, bright and cheery. My mom loves it there and we love her being …

Happy with the experience

I was very pleased with our experience with Autumn Grove. I chose this facility because it was recommended then when I went to tour, I realized a friend of mine had his mother here and he spoke very highly of it. I thought the room sizes here were very good, it had room for all his necessities. The staff members were all very comforting and helpful when I needed them. It is also a smaller community so he felt more like he was at home. I would definitely recommend it.

I was completely impressed with them. It's clean, lovely, and the philosophy of care is pretty unique compared to other places. The staff is caring, competent, and engaged with the residents. The rooms seemed appropriate in size.

Our experience with AutumnGrove unfortunately has not been a good one. We had high hopes for this place, I was very impressed by how nice looking and clean everything was during the tour, but the care did not end up living up to those standards. I think the hearts of the care staff and the aides are in the right place and they were very friendly, but the care they provided was lacking in some areas. There was not a lot of attention to detail in the care and cleanliness, my loved one always looked slightly dishevele…

The food is average at best

They are doing a great job. It's clean, and the staff is friendly.Everyone here is accommodating and very nice. I think that from what I've been told they may need to tinker with the cooks' menus.The staff is friendly. The nursing staff is capable and easy to talk to.
