The Woods at Victoria Park

Not at all pleasant

There has been several personnel changes since I moved in. Each new person seems more inept than the one before. Carpet in hallways is worn and has not been cleaned since I moved in. They are using Covid as an excuse now but nothing was being done before Covid. Kitchens have old dangerous appliances. Asphalt around the buildings has holes big enough to swallow a small dog or cat. If you can find somewhere else, take it. This complex has no redeeming qualities.

Restoration

Affordable living for the average senior. Management could be much better. Housekeeping needs to step up. Hate to see a good community fail in what was doing well.

Nice apt (2bed-1 1/2bath) but limited activities very clean and friendly.

Has A Little Community Garden

My mother in law is doing quite well here she is happy. She likes being able to come and go as she pleases. Being senior apartments there is no meals so she cooks on her own. She has met a few people everyone so far seems nice and friendly including the staff. She likes going outside and walking around the community landscaping is lovely. They have a little community garden that is nice.

There's always Bingo!

Victoria Park is a very nice and well-kept community. My one bedroom apartment is very spacious and comfortable. I have my own car and do my own grocery shopping and my own cooking. They do offer bus trips for weekly shopping trips into town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there are not enough activities available for the residents. I was hoping for something more in the game rooms, like ping pong, or pool tables, not just tables for crafting. The activities they do have are geare…

Great Senior Apartments

These are lovely senior apartments. Our family is very pleased with everything they have done for us. My mother in law is doing very well here. The office staff is kind and friendly. So far everything is working out well. I would recommend these senior apartments.
