My father was admitted a few years ago on a supervised level. he could walk around and eat unassisted and everything was great. after awhile I noticed housekeeping wasn't as good as they used to be, I visited his room and there were mummified mice in traps around his room. They were removed before my next visit. Since then I have had two major issues with the facilities. Our experience has been very disappointing. Paying more does not necessarily mean receiving better care or better service. In our experience, the community has been understaffed and disorganized. The biggest concern has been the memory care unit. Residents seem to have far fewer choices than those in assisted living. The food quality is poor, portions are small, and residents are not offered the same beverages or desserts that are available in assisted living. Cleanliness of the facility 5 for common areas. 4 for rooms. Friendliness depends! Front desk 5. I think the facility is very nice and the activities they do and the energy on the first floor is fantastic.
