Watching your parent lose themselves to dementia is the hardest thing to face especially when they are resistant to any type of assistance. My mother became part of the Twin Cedars family three weeks ago and we are still in the transition stage. She was welcomed with warmth from a truly caring staff who are more like an extended family than employees.
