Positive[name removed]went above and beyond to make my brother feel at home when he arrived.

PositiveUniversity Village Retirement Community is the one I like the most. The residents and the people who work there are very nice. A fridge, a microwave, and a dishwasher are included in the apartment. You can bring whatever you have there. It's a kitchenette basically, and it's one of the smallest apartments. It's like 400 square feet or something like that. The price is okay because it includes heating and cooling, and basic cable TV. Meals are also included. They also have a little place where you can…

PositiveIt's an older facility but well-maintained. It feels comfortable like stepping in to someone's home- not clinical. Also, Mom passed away a few weeks ago and the staff was extremely accommodating when so many family members came to see her her last 3 days. They not only didn't complain when we took over the whole room that was supposed to be double occupancy but they brought us a whole cart with snack and drinks. It was a very sweet and comforting gesture.
★★★★★
PositiveUniversity Village Retirement Community was very nice. The homes were adequate, and the service was fine. They have a lot to offer if you want to participate. They have activities and stuff like that. You can go to the dining hall or you can eat in your home. There were lots of options. The person that showed us around was very enjoyable, very pleasant, and very informative. Everything was a five. Everything was clean and orderly. There was space for you to go, like a craft center.
★★★★★
PositiveI'd say you have to look past that it hasn't been updated in a while. And look at how it is taken care of, cleanliness, grounds, etc. As far as the staff they all are very friendly and very caring. I would say all the people we have met go above and beyond their jobs.
★★★★★
PositiveIt is a lot nicer than most even though the building is really old. My mother's apt has had window leaks twice but it was during heavy storms with high winds.
