They are all very nice and always seem willing to help. The room is clean, I really like that the floors are not carpet and are a wood laminate so it is much easier for the wheelchair to move. There seem to several activities and my aunt attends most of them and she enjoys them. My aunt tells me the food is pretty good and she has been happy with the choices. I have felt very good with how they take care of her and treat her. I am happy we found them.

I would rate the overall experience as 4 stars, mainly because of the staff. Everyone I encountered was great and my sister-in-law loved each one of them. The aids were so kind and patient with her. The memory care side of the facility was undergoing renovations while she was there, so it was a work in progress. She started out in a private room which was a good size with a walk-in closet and separate restroom w/toilet and sink. The shower room was commonly shared. I really like Valencia at Draper. It's an older place, but it's been remodeled and well done. The living areas were bigger than most places. The people that worked and lived there were both happy. I didn't see that in the other places I've been. When I talked to the general manager, he said people stay. That's really important when you're moving somebody into an elderly place.
