I visited Verena at Hilliard's independent living community, and I liked it very much. I was only there walking around and looking, and talking to them, but I was pretty impressed. The thing that I liked the most about it was that it was very independent-looking. It was not attached to the main building, but they're like little condominiums and little apartments with two bedrooms, a living room, and even a kitchen. I'm in Verena at Hilliard, and it's only independent living here. What I like most is the food. It's very delicious. You've got a large bunch of food every day that you can choose from. It's very clean and very handy. The staff turns over too fast. It seems like it's new staff all the time, and I don't like it. Lots of activities. From coming in the door and being welcomed so nicely to talking to the residents that live there. This place is gorgeous. They have a wonderful team as well. When I stopped by the residents were listening to music while others were in their set room making ornaments. They definitely keep you busy here.

I stopped by to visit my mom and ended up staying for lunch. Talk about a restaurant atmosphere and the food was delicious. This place has all the whistles and is so nice. We have definitely picked the right place for our mom. She’s always happy as well which is a great thing. I was telling my mom that we could go out and do some shopping but she said she had craft class and music after that. I so appreciate the Verena and how they’ve put a smile on mom’s face. Thank you
