Review for Villa Capri

The residents get good care. There is always someone around to help. It's clean and well run. That's what we want for our loved ones. If one can afford the cost, it seems like one of the best places around.

Our Experience

Villa Capri is a very nice facility. We feel that my loved one is receiving good care there. They have not been good at helping us navigate his emotional response to being there, such as how to answer his questions about why he is there and when can he go home. That said, it's a beautiful, clean facility. The cost is very very high and not easy for my family, but we want him to have good care. I just wish there was more support for the families.

I visited this facility

The dining area at Villa Capri was great. I liked their community events. The room sizes there were nice. There was still storage space and space for people to have things and do things in their apartments. The grounds were clean. I really liked that facility. Everything was very nice. I liked the staff that I met. The people there were friendly, open, and helpful. Their accommodations were nice.

The tour at Villa Capri was a wonderful and helpfull .experience. We covered all of the public areas on both the first and second floors. The lunch on the patio was outstanding and delicious. The apartments that we saw were spacious and had excellent views of the surrounding area. The staff could not have been more accommodating and informative. We came away with a very positive feeling but not yet ready for the transition at this point in time.

change of ownership transition

Jury still out on change of ownership. I understand transition takes time. Most personnel from previous ownership, from managers to care givers have left or were let go. Many of the resident concerns are being listed to re; laundry, food quality and food variety, activities, HOWEVER very little action seems to be taking place.

Do Your Research !!

Do your research before having your loved one live at Villa Capri at Varenna. Owned by [removed] and recently Well Quest took over the management of this facility. It's obvious that [name removed] hired Well Quest to cut costs and operate Villa Capri as a budget community, however the costs for residents are high and will increase. Ongoing problems with the staff responding in a timely manner to the resident's call for assistance. Food is not good, residents give feedback month after month with no change. Staff…
