I was at an assisted living place, Villa Sorento last year during my recovery from a stroke. It's a very lovely place. It was very well taken care of. The staff was really sweet, kind, and generous. But the people there ranged from being fairly active to pretty out of it. I had a couple of experiences where at least three people would walk into my room, did not acknowledge my greeting, walked around my room, picked up stuff, put it down, used my bathroom, and then left.
