My mom was in River Birch Living for a while. It was in a beautiful location. It was a very warm and homey environment. It was very clean. The staff was very friendly and very helpful from what I saw. My mom didn't necessarily feel the same way. I thought the care was good, but she didn't feel the same way. At the time, there weren't many residents in there. She was doing much better than she is now. She wanted more activities than what there were. They did bingo, and there were little games that the…

My mother was in River Birch Living. It's a real nice home, fairly new, well-kept. Again with COVID, all their activities have been restricted. There was not a lot going on there whenever I was there. The food seemed fine. I did notice a lot of turnover in staff. They were a little harder to deal with. I wouldn't always be able to get through on our phone lines and stuff like that. Phone calls were within a day or so. I'd have to call and remind them to call me back. As comforting as home

It seems like a well run community. The staff seem to be caring and engaging with the residents. They are flexible with the individual needs of each resident and they do not have a " one size fits all" philosophy. We visited several places and we chose River Birch because is was welcoming, the residents all seems well cared for, and the staff were attentive and responsive to our questions.
