I have had my companion there for 2 years. We've done nothing but have trouble. They went through two directors which was hell. The new director is trying to pull it together but she herself has her own issues with some residents and their families. My companion has dementia neuropsychologist reviewed and documented. I have had my companion and wife at vine Ridge since 2021 I have done nothing but fight with the corporation and with the regular help. They have went through major changes which were horrible for all of us. Recently I've had to have a horrible encounter with the activities director who decided that she had more control over my companion than I did and could take them wherever they wanted to. I am/was a resident of this facility

I am jbmurray, a long term resident of assisted living at Vine Ridge Senior Living, who recently wrote a negative review of Vine Ridge, bec. my "call light", which is a pendent worn on a string around the neck, was on and blinking for a while and no one answered. It turns out that the pendent was defective, so its signal was not noticed by anyone, so no one responded. I now have a working one, and appreciate that the Director here, came personally, to give me a new pendant.

We looked at Vine Ridge Assisted Living. We were met at the entrance by a person who toured us and talked to us about how they were new. She then walked us through the whole facility. I don't think we went to the laundry room, but she told us where it was. We looked at a 1-bedroom and a studio then she gave us the prices for both of those. My wife moved into Vine Ridge Assisted Living. The place is very nice, but any memory section is kind of depressing. The move-in experience went fairly easy. The interaction with the staff seems good. There are only six residents and there are two caregivers there all the time. One section is assisted living where people get around and everything, but they have the memory section, which is very small. They have 15 rooms, but right now, they only have six residents. We toured Vine Ridge Assisted Living. The exterior and the immediate interior were very beautifully done and very home-like. Once you walk through the memory care doors, it became a very sterile environment. It was very small, and it smelled of urine. The rooms were very small. It just wasn't conducive to what my mother needs. Their backyard was very beautiful; but at the same time, not very livable out there. It was just a walking path and that was it.
