★★★★★
PositiveThe facility is very inviting, clean, and appeared to be a friendly environment. The staff that I met were cordial and friendly. The wonderful staff member who gave me my tour, patiently listened as I told my story about my brother, [name removed]. She also listened and was attentive when I spoke about our family dynamics. If my brother does move here to Cleveland, I believe Vitalia would be an excellent home for him.
★★★★★
Positivei liked the facility because of good location in green suburb of Cleveland, good design of the building, and friendly staff.
★★★★★
CriticalThe sales and lease signing process was smooth and convenient. The actual move in could be improved by staff supporting the move and helping the new resident to adjust. However they offer support to hang pictures at move in and it took over 6 weeks for this to be done. There were many repairs needed quickly in the apartment and minimal support understanding the electronics. We were told repeatedly that they were short staffed in maintenance. Meals were good but took a very long time to be served and on the weekends…
★★★★★
PositiveThey are short staffed currently and things that are promised are not happening timely. The activities are very oriented to women and are not overly enticing. There are definitely ways they could engage their residents differently. I am hopeful with the spring and summer months coming it will change. The meals are not as good as as they originally promised and often take a very long time (understaffed). Overall these are opportunities to strengthen the community not reasons to leave. The executive director is very …
★★★★★
PositiveThe design of the building. The room sizes and high ceilings. 2 on the food. Started out a 5 though but has gone down hill in the past year.. I would recommend this place. I hope they add more activities for these seniors and better food. Warm food. Not cold
★★★★★
PositiveWe visited seven facilities and took tours and met with staff in five. Three met our requirements as to meal plans, quality of the apartments and overall facilities, ease of transfer from independent living to assisted living to memory care if needed. Our cousin [name removed] is very complimentary of facilities and staff and she finds the place attractive, clean and friendly. She's independent living at Vitalia Highland Heights in Cleveland Ohio.
