PositiveTo me, the staff is everything when judging how a place works. And at Wellbrooke of Carmel, the staff all are wonderful. Smiles abound, staff stopping to see if all is ok with us, mealtime is relaxing and happy, and needs are met happily. It didn't hurt that everywhere I went in the facility, windows let in so much light and happiness. The atrium is perfect for making the place seem like a well appointed home. My sister stayed at Wellbrooke for about 3 weeks as a step-down after a 10 day stay at the hospital. …

PositiveMy mom stayed at Wellbrooke of Carmel for rehab. What I liked about it was that it was small. It wasn't big, and she got good care from the nursing staff there. The staff was also very friendly and nice. The nursing staff had a lot of experience. They were pretty good. It was very clean and well-kept. They had several activities. She was pretty busy with rehab, but they had a happy hour on Friday afternoons that she attended. They had live music and that type of thing that she enjoyed. She was there just prior…

PositiveMy husband was at Wellbrooke of Carmel for respite care, and we liked everything about it. It was an older facility, but it was very well-kept. We were pleased with the care that he got and the food was excellent. They had a lot of open spaces. They had individual dining rooms for each area of the facility, and we liked that. They had a little kiosk where you could buy things if you wished. And they had a lot of activities going on. They had movies and a game area, they took them on field trips, and they had a big …

PositiveMy husband was in Wellbrook for 2 weeks after 2 weeks in the hospital for CHF. The rehab was first class, top notch rehabilitation. He went from a wheelchair to a walker within days. And came home and not using a walker. The food was excellent due to the chef’s knowledge of different diets. Dawn, Jade, Danny and many more were instrumental in his recovery. If you are looking for rehabilitation this is the place.

PositiveMy loved one was here and it was a very good experience. They have caring nurses like you would hope for. They have a sort of rehab boot camp that includes all kinds of therapy help that comes in. Again, a great experience for us.
