I visited this facility

I toured Wellington Place of Hartford. It was not a place that would work well for me, and the rooms would not work well for me either. The staff were very nice, and the people that I met were very nice, too. The room was clean.

We had an in-person tour of Wellington Place of Hartford. The lady who took us through was very, very nice. When you walk in, there's a nice big fireplace with a sitting area, which is kind of welcoming. We walked into the dining room, and the residents were eating. The kitchen's right off to your left. We didn't have an appointment to tour this facility, but the director was very nice and gave us a tour and provided us with information about the facility. The facility was older but nice.

Wellington Place seems to have a lot of activities going on to keep their residents busy. I follow them on Facebook and they do a lot of outside activities too. One day they rented out a local movie theatre and took residents there to watch a movie. I also have had good feedback about the care.

My mother has been there less than two weeks, it may be too early for a review. My experience has been good. They gave me a tour and handled the transition and the paperwork from the nursing home. The people are helpful and good to work with. It is clean and not like a large institution. Mother is adapting to life there.

Wellington Place was one of the smallest communities we looked at. It seemed like a good place. It was a nice facility, with a mixed population of people with different levels of care needs. It was clean and seemed to be well run.
