Wellmore of Tega Cay

My mother is now at Wellmore of Tega Cay. The PT comes in and does exercises on one arm. She really doesn't do any activities, so she is just in her room. The place is very clean. My mom likes the nurses. Every nurse is really good. However, sometimes it is hard to get answers from people who are over them. They're only open until 6:00 in the evening, so I have to run there on my lunch, and my daughter has to go there right afterward, so there is really no one there for us to talk to to see what's go…

My mom has been at Wellmore for around 2 years and we love it. The staff is friendly and attentive. She started off in rehab and is now at assisted living and we are happy with both. One of our favorite things about Wellmore is all the activities they provide. They have movies, a variety of games, musicians, arts and crafts, farm day (farm animals come and visit), exotic animal day (exotic and animals come and visit) and much more. The nursing staff are very efficient and caring. There are many activities for the residents to enjoy. They also have an in house beauty salon.

Not worth the price

I have met many wonderful staff here, as well as nice residents. The activities, although simple, are great and there are many, especially different types of exercise classes. The amenities and dining options listed on this site are totally wrong for this community. Wifi, when available is as slow as dial up from 40 years ago. Meals are so-so and are set hours, not available outside the specific times. "Snacks" is a bowl of packaged crackers or chips or a few apples and maybe bananas. They run out of many food ite…

Great staff and wonderful activities. Friendly people that make you feel at home. Activities that go with the holiday and fun for everyone. Our suggestions are welcome.
