Westminster at Lake Ridge

I am concerned about how this community communicates with and values residents and neighbors. Earlier this year, there was a significant violent emergency event near the property. Staff interactions have generally felt unhelpful. Service, staff, and emergency vehicles frequently drive improperly on Harbor Drive and neighboring streets despite Clipper drive being the facility road, which causes concerns about traffic and safety. The application process also appears costly and unclear.

Westminster at Lake Ridge was unbelievable because it's a continuity of care. So, their property was gigantic. We looked in the main building. They had nice apartments. The common areas were beautiful. There were lots of dining areas. They had a pool, a fitness center, and everything. The person who did the tour was super nice. She was great. We liked her. My brother was at Westminster at Lake Ridge. My sister-in-law lives there now. It's nice. It has lots of stuff going on. It looks nice. Appearance is clean. It is very nice. With regards to activities, they have a woodworking shop, they put on plays, they have special activities on the holidays, and they have a choral group that sings. They stay pretty busy. My sister-in-law has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and an eating area. The food was outstanding.

Westminster at Lake Ridge was a very nice facility. The only thing I did not like about them was it was a buy-in and I wasn't looking for that, but it was a very nice tour. The apartments were small, but also very nice. They did not have complete kitchens because they serve all the meals and I was looking for one where I could have my own kitchen, but the people were very nice. I did not have a meal there at that particular time, but I have visited someone there before and had a meal, so I know the food is goo…

After being on the WLR "wait list" for approximately three years and enjoying all the perks associated with that -- meal vouchers, social events --we received a call in late November 2019 informing us that some apartments had come available.
