I have friends who live at the independent living community of Westminster Village West Lafayette, and I have been there to visit them. It has nice upkeep, is very clean, and has a bustling atmosphere. They have varied dining options. My friends are excited that they have several styles and several places to dine. They have one that is less formal, like a cafe type of place, and they have their dining room. They have a very nice wellness facility, and they have lots of art classes and art rooms. Westminster is a beautiful facility with many activities. If you are in independent living it is a wonderful place to be. However after my mother was moved to assisted living, it was evident that they are very understaffed as she did not receive the care one would expect especially for the cost. Communication of staff and follow up is very poor. Very disappointed.

Westminster Village West Lafayette is at the top of our list. The food was good. The staff was exceptional. The salesperson came from West Lafayette to Greenwood to pick us up and bring us back because at that time I was having trouble driving. It was an outstanding effort on her part to make sure we got there to see the facility, and we're working with her now to return for an overnight stay. It is a well-maintained and sturdy facility.
