Review for Westpark Village

Most of the residents are 10-20 years older than me, and more than half are in Assisted Living rather than Independent Living. I also haven't been able to get a garage space for my almost new car.

Liked the size and arrangement of apartments. Appreciated all the provisions of facilities and the availability of trained personnel for health and fitness. Very pleased.

Very positive first month.

I spent 3 nights with my dad last week. The room was clean and they were in several times a day to talk with dad. They escort him to lunch and dinner. Large 1 bedroom with a balcony is why we picked them

Overall a very nice community

Outstanding staff in upper positions. Lower positions such as waitresses/waiters need training in basic skills rather than just taking orders. The Life Enrichment Staff is to be especially commended for the well rounded program they provide.

Mom is happy

It was close to my mom's home(in her neighborhood )so she felt comfortable there. The staff treat my mother very good which makes her happy. Important to us.

Would definitely recommend

There is just an upbeat feeling about the place. Staff know your name. Residents are pleasant and welcoming. There are plenty of choices of food to eat. They hold monthly meetings between the residents and administrator and listen to our requests or suggestions. If they can make a change they will try, if not, explain why. I make a lot of friends doing laundry or in the elevator.
