My experience with Willowick has been amazing and I could not be more pleased. Amanda, the director at Willowick, has been attentive to our every need and her dedication, responsiveness, kindness, and overall caring nature has been exceptional. The facility is open, cozy and inviting, clean, and bright with lots of natural sunlight. The main area is filled with various types of nice furniture to relax in while visiting with your loved ones. Willowick in Beloit was brand new and gorgeous. Their staff was visible constantly, and my friend's care was excellent. Her room was very large. She had a private room, so she had no roommates. She had a bathroom attached (like an en suite), and it was clean. Her linen and everything was spotless. The staff was attentive and protective of the residents. The facility smelled fresh and the front lobby was warm and inviting. The staff was very accomodating in directing me to who I needed to speak with about helping a loved one. I saw a lot of natural light and smiles...definitely worth the visit.

I'm not impressed with Willowick Assisted Living of Beloit. My father was not impressed either. As soon as he walked in he wanted to walk out; it had a lot to do with the demeanor of the people in there. It looked colder. It had a gate that you get locked in and out of. I know people that are at Willowick and because of their mental state they don't even realize where they are, so they're OK with it. Not the best place for Mom

This place was a joke. The food is not fit to eat, and was usually served cold. The cook on several breakfast wasn't there and residents ate breakfast at 10am. Resident meetings might as well not happen as the owner and managers pay a deaf ear to complaints. This place also brings in memory care patients on the weekends, putting the residents in danger.
