We have found the facility and most especially each and every staff person at Windham Terrace to be incredibly warm and welcoming. The place is immaculate, inside and outside, and the food and dining service are restaurant quality. The residents are encouraged to dine in the dining room for all 3 meals each day, which we've found so helpful in decreasing the isolation that my MIL had been receding into for the last year or 2 at her previous independent living situation. I really liked this residence when we recently toured. It was very clean and home-like setting, and personnel were attentive. I really like the idea that it was an age- in -place facility and one could gently move from assistant living into memory care without much disruption. I liked that they include a monthly physician, memory care phys, and shuttle transportation to local shopping etc. At this time, we were touring various facilities and this was one of our favs, but mom is not quite ready, but we are keeping…

What we like the most about the community is their long tenure of senior nursing staff. Super clean. After a careful process and interviews at the top three memory care units near Salem I settled on Wyndham Terrace. The senior staff in the memory care unit had long tenure in the facility. The Activities Department is the best. All of them are so nice, positive, and helpful. The nurse, [name removed] , is committed and engaged. Administrative staff is a bit dismissive, but based on the experience we would recommend the community to others.

Highly recommend

They have lots of activities. Mother is in a wheelchair and is still able to enjoy activities, out to concerts, ice cream, lunch, shopping,trips to local parks, and museums off the premises as well as entertainment that comes into the facility. The fact that mom says she is just is so happy there and made the right choice says it all.

A Place For Mom was just what I needed.

Windham terrace, has been a great place for [name removed]. The memory care unit has excellent staff of long tenure and is very very clean and well organized. The furnishings are pleasant and comfortable. The meals have been popular with her and all in all it has been a very positive experience. Medication adjustments have been carefully attended to and the results have been very good. I would strongly recommend the facility.
