PositiveI liked Woodbine Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. It's a very nice place. Availability wasn't immediately available for my mother, so that was unfortunate. It's very well maintained. I like the activities that they had for adults. It was right in the process of being remodeled. I don't remember a pool or a salon, but what I cared most about was that they had memory care facilities. The rooms were a good size. I believe they were set up for two patients.

PositiveI recently visited a family friend at Woodbine, and I am happy to report, my experience was very pleasant. From the moment I walked in, the cleanliness of the building was evident, with every corner sparkling and well-maintained. The ambiance provided a soothing environment which was very comforting during a stressful time. The staff at Woodbine truly sets it apart. Every nurse, therapist, and staff member I encountered was not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly warm and friendly. They took t…

CriticalMy husband was at Woodbine Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. I know that they rank very high on the Medicare scale, which was the only reason I chose them, but I was very disappointed with them. They did not do the normal things that need to happen to help an elderly person. I had to ask them about turning my husband regularly, and I had to ask them to brush his teeth daily. Those were things that I thought were standard daily procedures for nursing homes or any kind of senior care or medical care. And the fa…

CriticalI was in the Woodbine Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. They've got a beautiful gym, it's the biggest I've ever seen. They even got a car where they teach you to get in and out of a car, and I've never seen it in a gym before. They've got real steps where you train. You had to go up and down the steps. They don't have just artificial ones where they roll around. These are real steps, and doors where you go up and down and everything like. And that makes it much nicer. It's a…

CriticalThe care at this facility is absolutely inexcusable. My sister in law stayed here following a stroke. We’ve found her weeping because she was left lying in her own urine for hours, has not been helped to the bathroom, went almost three weeks without a shower (we were told there was a ‘shower schedule;’ we weren’t told that it wasn’t followed). We’re working desperately to find her a bed elsewhere. We’ve complained several times to management, resulting only in very temporary improvement. Disgraceful, lawsuit-worthy…

CriticalSmall room, waited and waited constantly after many requests, for nurses to deliver meds, ice packs, etc. Food was not great, bed was uncomfortable. The staff would stand there watching me arrange the padding and pillow (which was the worst pillow I've ever seen in my life) on my bed before I got back into it instead of doing it themselves (I was using a walker to be able to get around and in a lot of pain so not in the best position to be making up the bed while hold myself up on a walker). Not their fault bu…
