Woodlands Memory Care Of Lewiston

The administrator of this place needs a class on communication tips. Its like a pot stirring drama show when she starts talking. Tells you something thats documented but then when you ask another question she can't or won't back it up by saying I haven't been here for a few days so I don't know. Bs she has a computer with all that info right smack in front of her. Beware of your dealings with her.

I would give them no stars!!!!!! The way my sister and I were treated by this administration was horrible. To this day it still bothers me. They accepted my husband who had a lot of medical issues, and they weren’t providing him the care he needed even though they said they could which was a lie! I had to be on top of everything which you have to. I took him out of there after two months . Don’t be fooled

Treated with such disrespect by certain administration staff, there is a lack of communication and you have to be an advocate for your loved one. They should never take on someone with medical issues when they are not capable of taking care of their needs. Stay away from this place looks are deceiving.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My dad has moved in to Woodlands Memory Care of Lewiston. The staff there is brilliant, including the custodian. They are wonderful, but they don’t have enough staff to look after the residents. They have an arts and crafts room, and they have a teaching room where people come in to teach the residents certain things. They have someone who plays the piano. They have a vegetable garden. I went to Woodlands Memory Care of Lewiston. It's quite new. I did notice a little bit that they were lacking in staff and were looking to hire. The interaction was good. I would say the intake representative was good and helped me with the application right on site, which was convenient. I didn't see much activity, and I didn't see many residents. My impression was that they were separated from each other and at separate tables. It seemed more like a cafeteria than the others. They actually had two …

The monthly fees do not appear to go towards the benefit of patient care. As a friend visiting I witnessed: No care or minimal at best. Essentially no staff. Smells like old urine. Possible bedbugs or flea bites on loved one. Never saw anyone wiping down surfaces. I found it very disturbing to see the lack of care.
