The staff are friendly. They answer all my questions and relay messages to my Grandfather when I am unable to speak to him. His bedroom is very spacious although he doesn't spend a lot of time in it unless he's sleeping. The staff make sure that he is out in the living room with other members where he can watch TV and socialize. My Grandfather says that the food is weird. My experience with A Place in the Sun

This was the very first place I toured. I had a panic attack the day before about the situation my Grandfather and I were in and [name removed], the program Owner, was kind. I had a really good feeling about the place. It is an honor and a privilege to highly recommend "A Place in the Sun", for it's caring and competent caregivers, and especially owner, Ilie Iugan. It was May 2020 when dementia finally took my mother's ability to care for herself. It was a horrible time for our family to try and find a suitable facility, and due to the pandemic, I couldn't travel from Chicago to assist my siblings to do so. Lovely Accommodations!

The food is exceptional and the home is very clean with no odor. Most staff, especially the owners, are friendly and communicate well with the family. There is nothing this well managed in this price range in the valley. One area for improvement would be social activities outside of mealtime. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

We had a good tour experience with A Place in the Sun. The only reason we did not go with this residential care home was because they do not have a doctor who comes in to see the residents. If you live far away like we did, this would not be ideal because you would have to go and take your loved ones to all of their doctors appointments.
