Our family's experience

The staff, of which there were many and you always saw them, were very kind and caring to my mom. The staff always recognized my father and told him where she was. There were many activities to participate in or not. During my mom's end of life they were very caring and supportive for the whole family.

Caring staff; good administrators;

The facility was clean and the staff were engaged with residents. It seemed like everyone knew my mom’s name. Good activities and outings. Food could have been better. Loved the 24/7 LVN presence and the facility seemed well-equipped to handle any contingency. Working through the staff on medical issues with the mobile Dr. presented challenges and it took several requests to get something resolved. Great housekeeping and maintenance and ample caregivers were present. [name removed] and [name removed] were wonderful…

I liked that they let us come visit multiple times to help make us feel at ease of placing mom there. The staff has been great through the whole process. They do not seem to stick to the activities that they have listed on the calendar. Definitely feel like we are paying top dollar, but feel like mom is being taken well care of.

The right place for my parents

My parents live at ActivCare at Rolling Hills Ranch. It's a very clean facility. The caregivers are very friendly and empathetic with all of the residents, you can see them many times, hugging them, smiling at them and talking to them. The housekeeping is in order, they wash the clothes and the sheets on a regular basis and my parents are changed with clean clothes every day. My loved one settled in well at ActivCare. The staff are warm and caring. The food is one area that could use improvement. It tends to be bland; overcooked pasta and vegetables.

Very helpful administrative staff - all questions and issues addressed promptly. Clean and bright common areas. Appreciate RNs on site in addition to CNAs.
