I'm in Advent Christian Village Inc. I'm on the fourth floor, and I have a beautiful view of the pond and the chapel. Everyone's friendly, and there are lots of activities to participate in. I have a raised garden bed. I have peas, turnip greens, and lettuce, and many things growing right now. Everyone's very helpful. There's a garden club and a painting club, where you go once a month. I have sent an application to Advent Christian Village Inc. I was very impressed. The residents were very friendly. I like that it's a Christian community. It just feels like a nice place. The staff members were knowledgeable and very friendly, too. I did not have a chance to try the food. However, when I went to look at it, it was an apartment with a kitchen in it. My mom moved into Advent Christian Village. Everybody seems really nice. It's very clean and it meets all of my expectations. The one thing that I've noticed is that they have a lot of staff, a lot of different levels like the RNs, LPNs, and the assistants that helps the parents around. We especially enjoyed the Advent Christian Village Inc. It was not at all what we were expecting. We were seriously considering it until we had a change of fortune. They do independent living, assisted living, and memory care all in the same building, which is what I was looking for. The grounds at Advent Christian Village Inc were lovely. They've got multiple levels. You can live in your own apartment independently. It has independent living to advanced care. The staff seemed a little overworked. They were nice and there wasn't anything wrong with it, but there wasn't anything right. I felt like maybe they needed to hire more staff. I talked to the lady just a few weeks ago before my grandson got put in the hospital, and she said that the hurricane had hit several of the smaller homes there, and they were having a cleanup day.
