I have moved into Alate Old Town. You have to be 62 and over to live here. It is convenient for public transportation, and it has restaurants not far from here, right in the local area. They also serve breakfast here five or six days a week, and they serve dinner twice a week, Wednesdays and Sundays, which is a plus, as I don't have to cook. It's very nice living here. It's quiet. I believe they said the building is only one year old. I only dealt with one person, the lady I signed the lease with and…

Very helpful and kind. The facility is gorgeous. Very walkable neighborhood, restaurants, metro only a couple of blocks away, pet friendly I know they have 2 bedroom also which I don't know about, my one bedroom is small and cozy and just enough for me. I think it is about 532 square feet. I have a window in the bedroom, my washer and dryer is in the bathroom. I will move to Alate Old Town. I wanted a single-story home but couldn't find one close to my son. This was a few blocks away and is a walkable place. You don't need a car. They have a gym class and a yoga class. They have a dining area. They serve breakfast every day and two dinners a week. The place is immaculate, and the staff was informative.

My tour of Alate Old Town went great. I enjoyed the lady who gave me the tour. It meets all my criteria, except there's no pool. They showed me a two-bedroom, and it was furnished. That was all well and good, and it's close to little shops downtown. I like the area and everything, but it's so far from some of my doctors. The staff who gave the tour was very thoughtful. I have moved into Alate Old Town, a new facility in Alexandria. I like the amenities that they have. They have activities like yoga once or twice a week. It's very friendly senior living. They have a music room and an art room. They have an outside grill too. They even have a place for the grandchildren.
