PositiveI toured Alden of Waterford. It was nice. I got there and the lady who helped me was helpful. They have a clubhouse and they have a pool table. They had a little cafeteria area and fireplace, and it was all redone. They had a little golf area outside and a grill. It was nice. I visited the home and it was a two-bedroom, two-bathroom like a townhome there. It was very nice but too much for a friend so she didn't go for it.

PositiveMy friend was at Alden of Waterford. She was there for about two months. It was a very nice and very clean place. The help was very nice and very friendly. My friend enjoyed it there as much as she could. She liked the rehab people. She was pleased with them. The therapy was good. She improved a slight bit, but not enough that they wanted to keep her there any longer. She liked the people there. They were very patient and very kind to her at the rehab. She got a shared room. It was very nice because between the two…

CriticalMy husband stayed at Alden of Waterford for rehabilitation. They were very low-staffed. The staff was very slow getting to the patients. He had a couple of bad experiences there. When the patient hit the nurse buzzer, it would take them an hour or more to get to the patient. I live about 5 minutes from the place, and I would have to come there to take care of what he needed. The staff was very unorganized. It was just a bad experience. He liked the food though, and it was good. The room he was in, the first three w…

PositiveI have been a resident of a two bedroom villa for the last four years. This complex is wonderful; I can’t imagine living any other place. We have several ponds along our walking paths which are stocked with a swan couple every spring. We all look forward to the hatching of the baby swans and watching how quickly they grow. My patio faces one of the pond and provides a beautiful view. I feel very safe living here and the provided transportation for shopping and going to dinner is a bonus. We do have a five star rest…

PositiveAlden of Waterford did an excellent job of caring for my father. The nurses, CNAs, and staff were compassionate and worked hard to troubleshoot any problems that came up with his care. My mother visited my dad daily and they even made sure that she was comfortable. They always had a smile and seemed to enjoy their jobs. It is very hard to make the decision to place your loved one in a nursing home, but we never regretted choosing Alden. Thank you for your kind care.
