PEARL OF ORCHARD VALLEY

My brother stayed in The Pearl of Orchard Valley for rehab. They were very short of help for the most part, so that was part of the problem. Some of the staff was good, some of the staff was not. He seemed to like the food. The facility wasn't clean all the time. The size of the room was good.

There are better and more quality options for loved ones other than this place. There are multiple grievances including lack of cleanliness, attentiveness and compassionate care from staff that stem from management down.

Symphony was very nice, but my aunt stayed there for less than 24 hours before she passed away. The staff was very friendly, kind, and caring. They communicated with us very well.

I’m glad there’s a place like Countryside Care Centre. There are a lot of people that are living there who cannot take care of themselves, and I couldn’t when I first got out of the hospital. The people were very nice. They did have a physical rehab, which I took place in during the week. I went from not being able to stand up to being able to walk 91 feet, so they were a big help. The facility isn’t bad. I would have liked to have had maybe more of a bigger garden and some outdoor longer paths. The food was good; …

Seemed very nursing home. not a whole lot of activity..the tour was rushed and they were unable to answer questions I asked.

Visited on Friday, June 18. It's a nice faciltiy, but my impression was that the staff was rather impersonal. The residents were not greeted by their names.
