Get your loved ones out of there. Director is a selfish, narcissistic, control freak who doesn’t know what she’s doing. When offered advice to avoid problems. She won’t take them. I heard staff are treated terrible. Residents don’t have enough food at meal time. They often complain. I’ve heard it when I visit my dad. No fun activities like it suggests. Mold in the facility. It used to be really nice. But now. Close it. Staff is awesome. Kind girls. Love the nurses.

CriticalThey didn’t help us or our mom. We met with several members of administrative staff, and they offered no help. I asked what to do next to have her placed, and I was told to go to Medicaid headquarters in Springfield, IL, several hours away. Not helpful. They acted as though she was the first patient to have this issue. As mom was Medicaid-pending, we paid out of pocket and were asked for future payments, even though she was not allowed to stay. We paid the maximum daily rate but were told she'd be moving into a qua…
