The place is kept up so it always looks clean and new. There are plenty of activities even though my 95 year old mom doesn't want to get involved. My mom has an enhanced studio which is plenty big for her needs. Pricing for independent living is separated so I can clean my mom's apartment and do her laundry myself and save between $[removed] and $[removed]each week. Plus it allows me to see how my mom is functioning on her own.

The facilities are very modern, clean, and both the building and landscaping are well maintained. Our mom started in independent living, we added assisted living with medicine management only a few months later and then moved to Memory Care. The staff is caring and helped us with this difficult transition. Memory Care provides a bit more structure and less choices. Which is what she needs.

The selection of units that included an enhanced studio made the cost much lower each month. Also the facility is approved for assisted living so every unit has the ability to change from independent living to assisted living if need be.

CriticalMemory care is not the strength of Amira Choice
The building is beautiful and the activities and environment for assisted living/independent are good. Mom was placed into memory care and we were sold on the idea that memory care residents would have choices, structure and similar activities. Unfortunately there were very few choices (same food for everyone and many other things). The primary activity is group tv watching. There was a calendar posted on our request but it wasn't followed. Exercise was almost always skipped in favor of tv.
