Brookdale Arvada

Our experience

The staff was great. The room size is great, and no complaints on food. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

My brother and I visited Brookdale while trying to figure out our mother's care and needs. Her condition deteriorated rapidly after the visit so we kept her at home on hospice. Brookdale is a lovely facility that I would recommend to anyone interested in assisted living.

Lovely facility

Close and convenient. Lovely facility. We found that the administrative staff really didn't seem to know [name removed]'s progress or what OT/PT was doing, which needed to be communicated to the care team.

When I originally toured Brookdale, I was very impressed. The facility was very nice, clean and comfortable looking. It had everything I needed for my mom. It sounded like the staff stayed around for many years. For the six months my mother was there, the turnaround time was not at all what I was led to believe. There were several care givers as well as admin staff that either quit or were let go. From what I know of care facilities, this is not an uncommon thing. Do not recommend

We had a very bad experience during a norovirus outbreak and the administration never returned our calls. Also, they misplaced all of her hospice things (meds etc) and the "night" nurse was extremely rude and hostile.

I visited this facility

Brookdale Arvada was nice, but the rooms were 300 square feet, so they were tiny. The person who gave the tour was excellent. The staffing and the cleanliness were good. They charge you extra if you eat there.
