I am pleased with most everything except quality of care. They are either understaffed or have unqualified help. There are a few who are excellent, but they are few and far between.

Very happy with care, activities, dining. Room is fair for the price as well. I would recommend to others.

Though my family member has not begun their residence at Amoroso, my interactions with the community have been exemplary. My questions were answered in a timely fashion before, during, and after our tour with the coordinator making themselves available outside of regular hours to meet our needs. The facility is not the most extravagant, but the feeling given after touring is that they're doing the most they can with the resources they have especially compared to other locations within the same price point.

Amaroso Wellness at York was a fairly new facility; the building wasn't very old, and the workers there seemed nice, but they just didn't seem to be enjoying their jobs, whereas at the other place I looked at, they seemed to be enjoying themselves. They showed me just about everything, including where the patients eat. My wife needs memory care, and they showed me the unit, the lockdown area, and stuff. And that was OK. Review for Amoroso Wellness at York

The "dance" their staff does with keeping up on diaper changes, moving residents to where they need to be and then housekeeping coming through and cleaning without disturbing the residents. My mother NEVER looked unwashed or uncared for. She was assisted when she needed it and given freedom when she didn't. She passed unexpectedly and then the staff supported me and followed up with me days.

The place was very nice, the people were very nice. We think it would be a good place for mom to stay if everything works out. Thank You.
