I went to Arbor Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. I didn't like that one as much, just because it wasn't just assisted living. It had a nursing home and other care, too. I just wanted all assisted living or apartment-style living. It was close to my house. It was clean and everything, but I was looking for socialization on the assisted living side, and they didn't have a lot of clients over there, so my brother would seem isolated, even though he would have had the freedom. My relative is at the Arbor Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The facility is clean. The staff is very friendly. They seem to care about the patients. The food appeared to be good. The building is fairly new. It is all on one level. They have a courtyard, a garden, and a nice parking lot. I like the fact that they know my relative by name. He's greeted by name, and they seem to care about him. It's conveniently located. It is not too far from where I live.

The facility interior no longer has a 'hospital' feel to it. It has many touches of 'home', like paintings and other wall art.
