Arcadia of Crofton Ii

Visit

I was able to visit both Crofton 1 and 2. They both feel more like a home than a facility. It was refreshing seeing how well the staff cared for the residents. You can tell they are loved at Arcadia! Isn't that the most important!

I thought Arcadia of Crofton was just okay - I wasn’t totally impressed. It was clean and neat. I thought the location was nice. The lady who gave the tour was really pleasant. I just didn't see much going on. They said they had activities, but everybody was just sitting around sleeping, which wouldn't have been a good fit for my loved one. And it didn't seem like they had a lot of staff.

Homey Feel

The community has activities. The facility is a very home style setting, small number of patients, the staff is a 4-1 staff ratio. The director is very personable and helpful. The room my brother is in is his and can set it up anyway he wants. It is about as homey as you can get.

Feels more homey like. The communication here is better than a previous community. The food seems a little better as well.

Arcadia of Crofton was okay. What turned me off was they have bathrooms that are open to anyone, and there were feces all over the toilet and the floor.

Attentive

What stuck out to us during our experience here was the staff members, they were all very nice and attentive. I would recommend Arcadia of Crofton to other families.
