PositiveI was blown away by Arden Courts! What other community has a whole town built into their building!? Everyone of their staff is dementia certified and the program director keeps her residents engaged with some really cool and diverse activities!

PositiveI am writing as the primary person responsible for my aunt’s care. While it is still early days for my aunt (2 months), I noticed that she has “acclimated” faster to Arden Court compared to the transition period in her last community. I attribute this to the Arden Court environment and full dedication to memory care residents. The staff are knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and friendly. They make it a point to get to know each resident and even their family members. This is also emulated to in their pro…

PositiveI came in for a tour. I was absolutely amazed. The programming department was having an art demo where all the residents were busy working on a project. Those not working on the project were relaxing outside in the very large courtyard which has beautiful landscaping with lots of birds , butterflies and flowers. I love how they are able to come and go outside as they want during the day as freedom is important for my family member who feels he is losing everything with his dementia. The culinary department has a wi…

PositiveAs soon as I walked in to visit my friend who was recently admitted I was greeted by the director and her receptionist. Since it was my first time visiting the nice young lady that worked the phones walked me in to see my friend. As soon as the doors opened I was wowed. I was even greeted by seeing the cats sit in the window in the general store. My friend was getting coffee and a yummy homemade snack in the tavern. I joined in the fun program they were having. I was worried it would be sad to see my friend in a co…

PositiveWhat an amazing place for memory care. My dad was upset, aggressive and needed 1:1 caregivers at his last community. After one week at Arden he did not need 1:1 caregivers and actually loves where he is living. He never did activities or left his room before now he eats with a great group of other men and looks forward to the ice cream socials daily. He also loves that they have cooking group. They grow their own vegetables and spices and use them in their cooking at the community. We are all impressed.

PositiveThis is one of the most friendliest communities in memory care. They truly care. We love the popcorn and ice cream they serve. They recently had a prom which was the most wonderful event we have attended as a family member of a resident.
