Happy Daughter!

I give everything a 5 except the food - I can't speak to that as I have not eaten there. The staff is incredible as far as keeping me up to date on my mom and are never "unavailable" if I need to speak with someone. I'm very happy that she' s there.

The staff, for the most part, are caring, friendly, and qualified to care for dementia patients. The head nurse is especially good to work with and responsive. A doctor (NP) visits once a week and is also very good. Therapy is available from Bayada or Fox, and the therapists are generally quite skilled. Aides administer medications at no extra cost and manage filling prescriptions as needed. They sponsored a talk by a dementia specialist a few days after move in. It was 4 hours of amazing information and increased understanding of dementia. In the middle, my mom walked in, saw me, and got upset. She thought she had "lost" me. As I was comforting her the activities director came up to her and distracted her, and got her to participate in an art activity while I finished up! It was great to see what a facility dedicated to memory care could do. I appreciated the light-filled common areas, activity areas, and outdoor space.

I recently toured this memory care community while looking for options for my grandmother, and overall I had a really positive impression. The staff was friendly and took the time to walk us through everything and answer our questions. The community felt clean, calm, and well cared for, and the environment seemed thoughtfully set up for residents with memory needs. recently came in to complete a tour with [name removed] and [name removed] with my mom for my grandma. They were both super nice and did a great job telling us about the building and different activities. My grandma passed away before we could look to move her unfortunately, but this was where my mom planned to go.
