Over all the facility was fine, not great, but no real problems with it either. My biggest problem is the way things were handled when my sister passed away. They called my cell in the middle of the night and I explained that I was out of town and would make arrangements as soon as I could. She called me back 30 minutes later asking when my sister's body would be picked up, give me some BS about state law only giving them so much time to transport the body. They are a personal care home but only have memory care at this location. There are some really good staff members here that make me feel confident that Mom is being taken care of. We've had a good experience with detailed communication from [name removed] the director. We really appreciate what they do for Mom because it was just too much to keep her home, it wasn't safe anymore.

PositiveConnected with the department heads
We recently moved my dad into Arden. We visited about 3 other places before we made a decision. It was important to me and the family that we got to meet the operator and department heads. Everyone was very nice, knew what they were doing and approachable. They have continued to be this way for the past few weeks Dad has been there. He hasn't been the best resident but they know just what to do when he starts to sundown at night. I know we made the right choice.

The facility is well maintained, and the staff is very attentive to the needs of both the residents and their families. They keep us well informed, and attend to requests, for either information or services, promptly, competently, and cheerfully. PositiveThey know what they are doing
My mom was somewhere else and they couldn't even handle her when she had a UTI. Thank god I got her to Arden Courts because the other place had me paying for a 1:1 sitter while they gave her a simple antibiotic because Mom was getting agitated. I think these things are to be expected for someone that has dementia. Well Arden Courts understood right away and I haven't had one issue there since.

PositiveUpfront with charges and dementia progression
I toured Arden, [communities removed]. I chose Arden because they were upfront with me on their charges and let me know how they handle my mom who has had behaviors of wandering. She was at [community removed] and it became a problem once her dementia got worse. I needed to know she was going to stay and not be kicked out again. I also need to plan her finances so I was glad to get an all included rate lock and not play around with care needs and amenity charges every few months.
