Our Experience

My loved one is currently a resident at Ark Manor and overall the experience has been okay. Some of the residents are disruptive and loud. The facility is clean and the care is good. The staff is very friendly. The food seems decent and the value for cost is great!

I did an in-person tour of Ark Manor. It was great. I like it because it's small and there were not too many people to talk to. One person knew all the stuff instead of talking to a bunch of people. Everything you needed was there in the room. It's clean, it wasn't fancy, but it will work. The dining room was average; it had tables and chairs, but no glitter, ceramics, chandeliers, or anything. I was at Ark Manor, and they needed a lot of work. The food was bad, the maintenance was bad, and the staff, not all of them, but didn't show enough respect for the elderly. It's a beautiful building, they just don't take care of it. They have a nice, large recreation room and dining area. There were about four of the regulars who do a good job, take care, and do what they specially do for the elderly. They seemed to turn over staff a lot. I really like this place! Lots to do and plenty of well kept common areas. Visually attractive and clean. The monthly cost for assisted living is less expensive than several of the other places that offer less and aren’t as appealing. Well worth 5 stars but I’ll wait until he’s been living there for a few months.

Ark Manor is really good. It's a peaceful place. Everything is fine. My mother's room is nice. The food is good, and the location is nice. It's right inside a community. They can sit and watch the kids ride their bikes. It's nice, clean, well organized, and well maintained. They have a lot of good activities. It's well worth it.
