It is a great place. Clean, accommodating long term staff. Private room is spacious. Small facility with nursing help always close by. No complaints whatsoever. Price is also reasonable for the services. Director [name removed] is great and takes a personal interest in each resident.

I think overall it was a good experience. The small room made privacy a challenge for my uncle, but the facility was clean from what I saw, and the staff were professional and respectful throughout his stay.

My father was only here for 2 months and at first the director and staff were very responsive to the point of giving me their cell number and replying quickly when I had questions. Once they had their money on auto pay, that response became a big fat zero. When my father was taken to the hospital, there was no response from the facility, not even a check in to see how he was doing. He passed away 5 days later, and other than a "so sorry for your loss" comment the next day when we were cleaning out his room, nothing…

I looked at the memory care facility of Halcyon at Bridgeville for my husband. I really liked it because the cost was within reason. It also seemed to have all the other amenities that the other memory care facility has. It's close to home too. They have a nice, single room or double room. They have areas where the residents can congregate, and they have a smaller dining area. They have activities that are available. They even had an outside space, which was nice. It's pretty much OK and hits all the boxe…
