Aspens is exceptional for the price. The level of care is comparable to places we have seen that cost twice as much. The staff is attentive, kind, and genuinely caring, and the overall atmosphere is calm and welcoming. They handle complicated situations with residents with patience and compassion, often doing their best to redirect someone who is confused or upset toward a more positive activity. My dad, who was an A+ student and a shy computer engineer, became somewhat of a rebel in the last months of having FTD. The staff at Aspens not only handled his dementia symptoms with professionalism and a smile, but they truly cared for him. They put him in a bowtie every day. They smiled about his propensity to resist care or refuse to sit down. They engaged him and tailored care to his needs. The activities Director was amazing. She went out of her way to try to get my dad to participate in things and to have things to participate in. The food was also very good. The staff was very kind. I would recommend this community to others

The staff seems very friendly and helpful. Answered all of our questions. We were mostly just trying to deal with my mother-in-law and getting used to trying to unlock her door, etc. The activities coordinator is extremely nice and is trying to get her involved and I think it's succeeding. It has not been an easy transition for my mother-in-law so I find that that is a win.

I am not sure about the activities. I am out of state and I haven't been able to find out from anybody activities. It really nice and clean. The food is good. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and yes I would recommend this community to others
