1.Overall Experience: Rating 2. I had to cancel my agreement to stay at Atria because I had to change the city I would live. There was no transportation within their limits to get me where I need to be. I decided to call the Director who didn't call me back. I called at least 4, 5, or more times. I got him twice. He said he couldn't make the decision and would call me back the same day before the end of the day. He never did. My experience started out positively, but over time I have become disappointed with the increasing costs and overall value. The cost of living here continues to rise, and additional fees can add up quickly. The food was initially one of the things that attracted me to the community, but I feel the quality has declined. CriticalI was a victim of View and Switch, Bait and Switch. On [date removed], I was shown four apartments. The one that I was considering on leasing was smaller but cost more. I asked my salesperson to check with her superior about negotiating a lower price under these circumstances. She came back to me that the one I was interested in had been sold (while I was touring) and that another apartment had become available (while I was touring). This is suspicious to me, and I told them so.

Generally very happy here. Had a bad experience initially when they raised the rent $[removed]/month after we had been here 5 months. But I hated the apt anyway so we moved to a different location that I like much better. Hope they don't raise the rent too much this year. Food is good, not gourmet but definitely edible.
