I visited this facility

I visited Atria Fairhaven's independent living community, and it was just nice. It has a nice apartment, and it's near my son. There were a lot of amenities, too. There are book clubs, lectures, history lessons, and exercise. They also offer three meals a day, and it's near shopping, which I like. There are just a lot of things to do. I'm an educator, so I'm more into the educational stuff, like the book clubs. I also like the food because I like their menu. What also appealed to me was tha…

Atria Fairhaven

share the only item that they have failed at so far which was promised during the sale process, and that was Atria would provide transportation on any week day to and from his boat located close by. It was confirmed multiple times before and after the contracts were signed, and my dad still has been unable to obtain the service (other than the standard Tuesday/Thursday pre-scheduled doctors/shopping planned).

I visited this facility

Atria Fairhaven was lovely. I would have moved my aunt there in a minute if she would have gone. It was clean and bright and it smelled nice. I looked at an apartment on the first floor, and it was great. I looked at an apartment on the third floor, and it was great. The layout was good. It wasn't too far for people to get from one spot to another. I didn't meet that many people, but the people that I met were welcoming.

Our families experience

Unfortunately, my mom was hospitalized and passed away the week that she was to move in. Atria was excellent to deal with during the process. They were very sympathetic and understanding during her hospitalization and they promptly refunded our deposit after she passed. Can't say enough nice things about Atria.
