It took so much effort to convince my mom that this was the right move for her, now she is afraid of going into any Assisted Living Facility. It was absolutely the worst experience ever. Ill explain: we went through the entire admission process. Paperwork, medical records, multiple nurse visits, multiple facility visits. We paid them for the first month & on the day my mom was supposed to move in, they called us & stated that she had been rejected bc of a medical issue. Which they already were aware from the begin…

Nurses & aides were great. Very engaged w residents. Friendly & helpful to me, patient w my visiting mother. Dad was in memory care there for 5 months before he died in July. Activity woman was friendly & encouraged participation, settled down agitation. Food was ok - I tasted some. But willing to bring him something else. Kept room clean.

Atria Park itself is a great place for your loved ones who need a safe place with all the amenities, warm and beautiful interiors as well as what seems to be amazing medical support if that’s required.

I toured Atria Park of Great Neck. The people were very knowledgeable. They seemed to care about the facility. They seemed to be proud of it, so that's why they were working there. They thought it was great. There was not as much walking as in the other place, but it still seemed tight. There were four times the number of residents, and they tried to split the number to appear smaller, but it took away that feeling of being at home. The size of the room was very good.
