CriticalMy father has moved into Bronxwood Assisted Living. The place is beautiful, but it's not the best place for my dad. The staff is great. He doesn't like the food. There are activities. They have a movie theater. They have a little living room where they can sit and hear music. They have a barber. They have art classes in there and things like that. He shares a room with someone else so that's not good for him.

PositiveMy sister just moved to Bronxwood Assisted Living. She's adjusting there. The units they have are shared bedrooms. They're nice, clean, and they're updating them. The staff is very friendly. PositiveThe rooms at Bronxwood Assisted Living were laid out in a way that you can't see the beds from each person. So, there's privacy to the person in the bed and to the others. They can watch TV on the dresser and they can have a refrigerator, like a mini fridge. There were a lot of activities. There was a pool room, a movie room, and a nice outdoor space.

PositiveIt was hard to find a place for my mom. I must say this had to be the best choice. Everyone is so helpful. The staff has been great. The place is always clean. They treat everyone with respect. My mom is so happy here. Any information you need there is always someone who tries to help you. They make the transition very smooth. They handle the paperwork. I highly recommend this facility.

CriticalI visited this facility today in search of a new home for my 94yr old grandmother, and atmosphere inside was pleasant, outside was a very busy main street. I wasn't pleased with the front desk, the woman wasn't the right personnel to be welcoming people. But once we meet the director and admission person who gave us a tour, I felt better.
