PositiveI can't say much about Autumn House East. It was all a pretty good experience. I went in, and I had to wait in a waiting room right next to the dining hall. This wasn't for the memory care people, but this was for the normal people, and everybody seemed happy, and the staff was happy, and they were helping the patients. They were done eating and got them back to the room and stuff. They all just seemed to enjoy their jobs. It was the same way in the memory care unit also; the patients just seemed happier …

PositiveMom was in the hospital and rehab again. When she returned everyone was coming in and hugging her. It made her feel really special. I would recommend.

Positivemy Mother was only there a week she came in needing Hospice care and even though the staff didn't know her they treated her her with the best care possible and kept her comfortable in her last days Thank you to them all.

CriticalIt just isn't overall as wonderful as it seemed it was going to be when we had the initial sit-down meeting. Cleanliness issue- which they did take care of and were apologetic. Activities are lack luster. Sometimes you can't find any staff around, but, the staff are all fabulous, so nice and understanding. The room is like all rooms anywhere, I would say. If you don't have dementia you get more out of your stay. If you are open and friendly it is a better experience.

PositiveMy father has dementia and is hard to deal with at times. From the move in, assessing his needs, and handling all of it, they have been very helpful and keep us informed about any needs. The staff are professional and since this is new to me, they have been great to work with! [name removed], [name removed] the administrator and [name removed] have been very helpful and keep me updated!

Also, the traffic outside on Market Street was just a mess, and I would not trust him walking out there or crossing the street to get anywhere. With the heavy traffic, he would be splat. The place was beautiful. It was kept up very well. It was more involved with the senior center type furniture, and the people were nice. We really enjoyed visiting there. They even gave my brother ice cream and peaches. It was a nice place to visit. T…
