Avanti Senior Living at Covington is a lovely place, but it is too formal and too cold for me. I am more of a casual person. I didn't see a soul there, except the person who was showing me around and there was one guy who had his dog. One thing I thought was amusing is that Avanti's literature limits the size of pets to 25 pounds, but he was walking a golden retriever, which obviously weighed more than 25 pounds, and they didn't have any problem at all with that. Avanti Senior Living at Covington is a really nice community. Everything's fine here. The thing I like most is the staff. They're very good. The food is good. They have exercise classes three times a week. They have quite a few activities for seniors, like arts and crafts and transportation to doctor's visits. They have activities that take the groups to eat lunch. For instance, right now, they are going to the World War II Museum. We have a Japanese occupant here who's very active, and she brin…

The staff is great the love and care was genuine and overflowing with kindness. Every staff person would stop hug and ask mom how she was including receptionist and maintenance workers. They seemed very attentive and interested in mom. Mom is in memory care now as she was roaming at night on the Assisted side. She is doing good and has had no issues we are aware of. Manager and young lady that we originally met when looking were very prompt at getting back to us in the beginning, however once Mom was there slow to …
