I visited this facility

We've chosen the Beechwood Assisted Living and we toured there two weeks ago. I spoke with the director of the facility. He was very personable, I talked with the caregivers that they have there. They are very knowledgeable and personable. I just felt very comfortable with my mother-in-law being there. It was a home-like atmosphere and that's what we needed. We need it to be a smaller group for her because of her dementia. They had a first floor availability 'cause she can't do stairs very well.…

My father in law has been at Beechwood Assisted Living since 2010. My husband and I feel that it is one of the best things that we have ever done for him. Very happy with our decision! We sleep much better at night knowing he is here.

Caring pleasant attentive staff. Beautiful home. Private and semi- private rooms with available. Home cooked meals and personal laundry done by staff. Beautifully decorated for holidays. Tours by administrator/owner upon request. Amenities include 24-Hour oversight; assistance with personal hygiene; housekeeping; Transportation to doctor's appointments, activities and shopping.

I'm only giving one star because it won't allow me to give no stars. I called Beechwood because I am trying to find a home for my father. He is on a fixed income and he has dementia. I've been doing my best to take care of him myself but the time where I won't be able to do so any longer is near. I just asked a simple question. "Do you accept Medicaid?"
