The new owner has no compassion or heart. She doesn't care about the people in her facility only the bottom line. She evicted long time residents when she bought the home despite there level of care remaining the same. (Not legal in Maryland but these residents didn't have anyone to advocate for themselves) If my mother hadn't been on hospice she would have been forced out as well. If my mother hadn't been so medically fragile I would have moved her. I wouldn't board my worst enemy in this facility. I would recomme…

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My parents are in Esther's Place. I like it. The staff is OK. Some of them are friendly. Some of them keep them clean. I like most of the staff. The food is good. It's a home feel. They have a TV, a bathroom, a sitting area, a kitchen area, and a deck. They took the people to adult daycare when COVID wasn't really strong, and they did activities with the ones that didn't go there. They have a patio.

I chose Esther's Place because I went and talked to her and she took the time during covid to talk to me outside for 2 hours and answered all my questions and made me feel at ease and confident that he would be well taken care of here. They were great with communication for the short time that my husband was here. It is a very homey setting and I would recommend to others looking.

From the first day of admittance, until his final passing, Esther's Place delivered excellent care for my 96 yr old Brother in law who suffered from Alzheimers & other medical issues. The high level of competence, caring & attention all within a great budget.. I highly recommend Esther's Place to anyone looking to have their loved one cared for in a loving atmosphere..

The staff actually cared about the residents. They were friendly and helpful.
